🇩🇪 Endlich Sonne – o welch Wonne diese Sonne. Nur Sonne und blauer Himmel und weiches Gras und sanfter Wind im Fell. Wie sagte es Kater Murr zu seinen Lebzeiten: „O welch ein Wiedersehen! — wie wallte in meiner Brust das Entzücken, die unnennbare Wonne des Liebesgefühls.“ Und so, wie es Murr mit seiner „Miesmies“ erging, so mochte es sein, als ich die Sonne am ganzen Leib fühlte. Sagt mir, was braucht ein Kater mehr als das?
Najaaa, es gibt schon eine Pfotevoll Dinge, die meine Seligkeit zu neuen Sphären emporheben mochten, doch solcherlei Dinge hier darzulegen, brächte mein unschuldiges Wesen in Verruf, drum rede ich nicht mehr fort und genieße- o, seht doch, Niara naht sich mir.

🇬🇧 Finally sun - oh what bliss this sun is. Nothing but the blue sky and the sun and soft grass and gentle wind in the fur. As tomcat Murr said it once: “What a reunion! - how rapture billowed in my chest, the indescribable bliss of love.” And just as Murr felt with his beloved “Miesmies”, so it may be when I felt the sun all over my body. Tell me what more does a tomcat need than that?
Well, there are a few things that might raise my bliss to new spheres, but to expound such things here would bring my innocent nature into disrepute, so I don't talk any more and enjoy- oh, look, Niara approaches me.
