Hallo, hier ist wieder Swede. Ich erzählte euch doch, wie ich per Handtasche nach Dresden reiste – nicht grundlos, kann ich sagen. Wie ich erfuhr, ging es nicht darum, monumentale Bauwerke zu begutachten, nein, es ging darum, in eines dieser hineinzugehen. Ja, wir gingen in die Oper – in die Semper-Oper, um genau zu sein – und dort wollten wir uns eine Aufführung der Zauberflöte anschauen.Was, ihr wisst nicht, was eine Oper ist? Eine Oper ist... Hmm, wie erkläre ich das jetzt? Eine Oper ist ein gesungenes Theaterstück. Und ein Theaterstück ist wie- wie ein Film, der live aufgeführt wird. Aber damit die Darsteller nicht alleine singen müssen, stehen ihnen dreißig oder vierzig Menschen zur Seite, die Geige und Klarinette und Oboe und Horn und Trommeln und Cello spielen. Das müsst ihr euch mal reinziehen.Da ich aus Gründen nichts von der Aufführung selbst zeigen darf, will ich euch wenigstens etwas vom Inneren des Gebäudes zeigen – ich glaube, ich habe noch nie ein verzierteres, verschnörkelteres, kunstvolleres, feudaleres, verschwenderischeres, sehenswerteres Gebäude gesehen. Jeder Winkel ist verziert, jede Verzierung ist verschnörkelt, jeder Schnörkel ist ausgestaltet, jede Ausgestatung ist verziert, jede Verzierung ist... Es hieß, er wäre zu groß für das Handgepäck, gleichwohl wäre Platz für eine kleine Plüschnase – das ging mich an.
