đş Wir wurden von Paps beauftragt, fĂźr das Abendessen zu sorgen. Zu diesem Zweck gab er uns ein wenig Geld und einen Zettel mit den Dingen darauf vermerkt, die wir kaufen sollten, während er sich um den Haushalt kĂźmmern wĂźrde. Allerdings bedachte Paps das ganze Unterfangen nicht richtig. Ja, zum einen kann niemand von uns lesen, darĂźber hinaus ahnte er wohl nicht, welche Verlockungen der Eisladen auf dem Weg zum Supermarkt fĂźr uns bereithalten und wie schnell das Geld fĂźr ebendieses Eis und Sahne ausgegeben sein wĂźrde. đ¤ˇâď¸
đ˝ Tja. Und da wir bald kein Geld mehr hatten, wollten wir anderweitig Essen auftreiben. Drum versuchen wir unser GlĂźck beim Angeln im nahegelegenen Teich im Schlosspark. Hoffentlich finden wir darin einen Fisch, der groĂ genug fĂźr vier hungrige Mäuler ist. âşď¸

đş We were asked to prepare this days dinner. Therefore, Dad gave us a little money and a list of things we should buy while he took care of the housework. However, Dad didnât think about that properly. First of all, none of us is able to read, furthermore he might not had any idea of the temptations the ice cream shop on the way to the supermarket would have in store for us and how quickly all the money would be spent on ice cream.
đ˝ Well, since we were running out of money rather quickly, we wanted to find food elsewhere. So we try our luck fishing in the nearby pond in the castle park. Hopefully weâll find any fish in there big enough for four hungry bellies.
