Ich muss mich für die letzten Tage gänzlicher Zurückgezogenheit entschuldigen – manchmal muss ein Gepard aber einfach für sich sein. Das machen wir so. Ich weiß auch nicht warum. Die Natur wollte es so, dann machen wir es eben so. Aber aller natürlichen Unbill zum Trotze ist heute #RedBearsFridayNightMovieNight – genug von Trübsal, genug vom Trott, jetzt wird ein Film geschaut und danach der NFL-Draft.
Nachdem der sogenannte »Familienfilm« in der letzten Woche gar nicht mal sooo familientauglich war, durfte Mara heute den Film aussuchen. Ich musste nicht lang überlegen, war es doch vorhersehbar, welchen Film sie ausersuchte…
Niemand durfte reden, niemand durfte sich bewegen, knistern oder rascheln, damit ihr nichts vom Film entging. Ich glaube, sie ist voll verknallt in Simba, denn sobald er ins Bild läuft, seufzt sie so seltsam und grinst in einer dümmlichen Seligkeit daher - freilich nur so lange, bis Nala dazukommt und sich den zottigen Kater schnappt. Dann knurrt Mara immer.
I have to apologize for being completely withdrawn for the last few days - sometimes a cheetah just has to be on its own. We do it like that. I do not know why either. Nature wanted it that way, then we'll do it that way. But all natural unfairness to defy today is #RedBearsFridayNightMovieNight - enough of tribulation, enough of trot, now a film is watched and then the NFL draft.
After the so-called "family film" wasn't even sooo family-friendly in the last week, Mara was allowed to choose the film today. I didn't have to think long, it was predictable which film she chose... Nobody was allowed to speak, nobody was allowed to move, crackle or rustle so that she didn't miss the film. I think she has a crush on Simba, because as soon as he walks into the picture she sighs so strangely and grins in a stupid bliss - to be sure, only until Nala arrives and grabs the shaggy tomcat. Then Mara always growls.
