Hallo, hier ist eure Swede. Seht ihr, was ich gemacht habe? Also eigentlich hat das Papa gemacht - ist der Regenbogen nicht voll geil? Echt, jetzt. Das ist wie ein Wunder.
Am Anfang glaubte ich, Paps will mich veralbern, als er sagte, ich solle mich auf die Wiese stellen. Ich solle stillhalten, dann könnte ich gleich einen Regenbogen über mir sehen. So ein Spinner, dachte ich, denn es war blauer Himmel und Sonnenschein – wie soll da ein Regenbogen entstehen, der seinen Namen nicht zufällig hat? Und plötzlich drehte Paps das Wasser bis zum Anschlag auf. Natürlich wurde ich etwas nass, und gerade wollte ich ihm sagen, wie gemein das war, mich so zu veralbern, bis ich den Regenbogen gesehen habe. Tatsächlich, da war ein Regenbogen.

At first I thought Dad was kidding me when he said I should stand on the meadow. He told me to keep still, then I could see a rainbow overhead in a blink. What a weirdo, I thought, because it was blue sky and sunshine - how is there supposed to be a rainbow that doesn't get its name by chance? And suddenly Paps turned on the water. Of course I got a little wet, and I was just about to tell him how mean it was to make fun of me - until I saw the rainbow. O de lally, there was a rainbow.
You see that - dad made a rainbow.
