After thunder and lightning elapsed, we turned around. Slowly. The anxious look carefully groped its way to the threatening shadow along the walls until it came to the fluffy end of a tail, soon found another end and a third one before the whole animal was discovered - a tree-high cheetah was sitting right at that spot, where the lamp swallowed a blue ghost just a moment ago.
🐆 Gene! Is it you?
👻 Gene? Who is this Gene you are talking about? Allow me to introduce myself: Jomo is my name.
🐆 Nice to meet you. Forgive us the mistaking. We thought you were- oh, all of this is far beyond explainability. Anyway, have a nice day Jomo.
👻 Aww, you- you want to leave that soon?
🐆 We have been here for a very long time, dear Jomo. Now we have to go home.
👻 Home - is it more beautiful there than in a castle?
🐆 Well, it's warmer and less spider-draped with beds and pillows. And all of our family are there.
👻 Family - oh, that sounds nice. Are there also small cats with really big hearts? Once I knew a little girl whose courage was as big as she was short. Her name was Swede, and-

👻 Haha, how could I forget the little girl who saved me from the cursed lamp?
😸 Gene!
👻 Gene? Who is that Gene? What a terrible name though. Hahaha.
😸 Oh Jomo, you are free at last. Wonderful. You can finally do whatever you want. Isn't it great?
👻 Verily it is. But it would be even greater if I could experience all the adventures with- with all of you. But I know it's too much to ask. For all you did for me, take my thanks and farewell. I pray to the sun we'll meet again someday.
🐆 Come on, Jomo, grab you belongings! You come with us.
👻 Really?
🐆 Consider it my wish!
👻 Your wish is my command, Dad!
And so we left the castle, we, two children, a cheetah mom, a dad as well and a three-tailed, highly cultivated beast from Caledonia.
And they all lived happily everafter.
