Das Wetter ist zur Zeit so launisch wie eine Löwin. Will man die Sonne genießen, muss man schnell sein – und wir waren schnell. Kaum sahen wir die Strahlen durch die Wolken stoßen, versammelten wir uns vor der Türe und ließen uns zur Wiese mit den Narzissen bringen, damit wir wenigstens einmal dort waren, ehe der nächste Regen käme. Und kaum waren wir da und tummelten uns in den Blumen, kam auch der Regen wieder. Zum Glück waren wir ebenso schnell zurück im Trocknen.

The weather these days is as moody as a lioness. If you want to enjoy the sun, you have to be quick – and we were quick. As soon as we saw the first rays of the sun breaking through the clouds, we gathered at the door and asked to be taken to the meadow with the daffodils, so that we could be there at least once before the next rain came. And as soon as we were there and cavorted in the flowers, the rain came. Luckily we were back home just as quickly.
