Das Löten übernahm ich – rasch die losen Kabelenden verbunden, die Antenne befestigt und die Batterien eingelegt. Jetzt konnte ein Testlauf im Trockendock beginnen. Ob all das funktioniert?

I did the soldering - quickly connected the loose cable ends, attached the antenna and inserted the batteries. Now a test run in the dry dock could begin. Does all of this work?

😀 Hallo, hier ist eure bezaubernde Swede-😃 Und Mneka!😀 Heute ist ein neuer Tag auf der Flamingo-Speedboat-Werft. Nachdem die Elektri- die Elektra- das Stromzeug fertig war, mussten wir alles irgendwie vor dem Wasser schützen - da kam eine leergefressene Katzenfutterdose gerade recht. Ein bisschen Lack durfte nicht fehlen. Und nun kam etwas total Ekliges: Weil das kleine Schwimmkissen das Boot mit Futterdose nicht mehr trägt, mussten wir einen neuen Ponton schnitzen. Und dazu mussten wir uns von einer furchtbar widerlich quietschenden Platte eine Scheibe abschneiden und passend machen. Nochmal Silikon. Nochmal Farbe. Und zuletzt Nummernschild und Flammen. Fertig ist der „Swedester“Ob es wohl fährt?🇬🇧😀 Hello, this is your lovely Swede-😃 And Mneka!😀 This is a new day at the Flamingo Speedboat Shipyard. After the electri- the electra- the power thingies were applied, we had to somehow protect these from the water - an empty cat food can came in handy. A bit of paint was a must. And now something totally disgusting happened: Because the little swimming cushion no longer supports the boat with the food can on top, we had to carve a new pontoon. To do so, we had to cut a slice off a horribly disgustingly squeaky panel and make it fit. A bit of slicone. Even more paint. And finally the license plate and flames. Und also begann es – das Boot sollte aufgebaut werden. Ich besorgte das nötige Werkzeug, Mneka und Swede besorgten die angestrengten Mienen, die viel, viel Denkarbeit verrieten, denn ein Blick auf die Anleitung verhieß Abenteuerliches. Ihr wisst, ich bin kein Tier von besonderer Lesebegabung, aber selbst ich konnte erkennen, dass die Anleitung sonderbar geraten ist – statt Buchstaben gab es nur Glyphen, die ohne sorgfältiges Studium nicht zu enträtseln waren. Die Kinder mussten den Aufbau also ohne Hinweise ins Werk setzen.Schnell waren alle Teile ausgepackt, entgratet, vermessen, zusammengesteckt, verleimt. Da waren Zahnräder, Motoren, elektri- tra- tronische Teile. O weh.🇬🇧And so it began - the boat should be built up. I got the necessary tools, Mneka and Swede got the strained faces that reflect a lot, a lot of thinking, because a look at the instructions promised some sort of adventure. You know I'm not a particularly literate animal, but even I could tell the instructions were oddly twisted—instead of letters, there were only glyphs that couldn't be deciphered without years of study. Well, the children had to figure it out without any help.All the parts were quickly unpoxed, deburred, measured, put together and glued. There were gears, motors, electri -tra -tronic parts.
