Ein neuer Tag, ein neues Paket. Mancher rollt gewiss schon mit den Augen, wenn er nur das Wort hört – Paket. Mancher befindet sich gar in höchstlicher Sorge darüber, wo der Inhalt des Pakets wohnen, wo er schlafen wird. Aber das sind Gedanken, die zu machen nötig, wenn ein Blick ins Paket die ganze Not verriet.Die ganze Schwere der Not ließ sich bereits erahnen, denn das Paket war nicht zu bewegen. Ob ein Elefant darin reiste? Swede wollte nicht mehr raten, verschwand kurz, kam mit einem Messer gerannt. Ich sagte ihr, sie solle nicht mit dem Messer rennen, sie tat es trotz elterlicher Ermahnung und machte sich daran, das Paket zu öffnen. Schnell war alles Füllmaterial beiseite geräumt und da kam es ans Licht.Tatsächlich war da kein Elefant drinnen, ja nicht einmal ein Plüschie, sondern ein Buch. Eigentlich waren’s mehrere Bücher, und immer war es das gleiche Buch. Nanu! Warum sollte man das gleiche Buch fünfmal kaufen?😸 Bücher?😺 Scheint so. Aber kein Elefant.🐆 Bücher? Sagtet ihr: Bücher?😸 Ja, Dad. Schau selbst.🐆 Sind das etwa- yeah, das sind die Probedrucke meines Buchs. Geil! Ich wollte sagen: Großartig!😺 Dein Buch, Paps? Wann hast du denn ein Buch geschrieben?😸 Du und Schreiben, Dad? Du kannst doch nicht einmal lesen.🐆 Aber- aber wisst ihr es denn nicht mehr, wie ich den ganzen Sommer hindurch mit unserem Menschen auf der Terrasse saß und eifrig korrigierte, wie ich editierte, wie ich disputierte?😻 Ach Liebster, meinst du etwa jene endlosen Abende bei erfrischendem Wein und Wassermelone, an deren Ende du pöbelnd auf dem Tisch lagst wie ein stinkendes Stück Aas, anstatt nützlich zu sein?🐆 Pöbelnd? Ich war verstrickt in Diskussionen, auf dass im Buch alles seine sachliche Richtigkeit hatte. Und da ist es nun. Ohne meine Hilfe wäre es niemals fertig geworden.
