Nun hat es @eurselina also doch geschafft – nachdem sie gestern neckisch ihre Malpalette herzeigte und heute das Ergebnis von Biancos Schaffen präsentierte, traf es auch mich. Nein, ich meine nicht die Inspiration. Ich meine Mneka, die Biancos Bild sah und glaubte, ich solle auch mal wieder mit Pinseln spielen. Dass mir noch immer niemand erklärte, wie man mit Wasserfarben umging, wollte sie als Ausrede nicht gelten lassen. Und damit mir die Entscheidung leichter fiel, bot sie sich als Model an.
Wer will da nein sagen?
Bei dem Wetter blieb einem ohnehin nichts anderes, als eine Drinnenbeschäftigung zu suchen. Und so skizzierte ich und kleckste Farbe auf das Blatt, willkürlich, hier und dort, und Schicht um Schicht, mit Licht und Schatten allerorts.
Manchmal glaube ich, da sind Fortschritte zu sehen. Manchmal glaube ich, jemand sollte mir den Umgang mit den Farben erklären. Manchmal glaube ich, ich sollte professionellere Pinsel und andere Farben als den Schulmalkasten haben. Aber heute ist Sonntag – da hat nichts geöffnet.

🇬🇧 Finally @eurselina succeeded - after she teasingly showed her colour palette yesterday and presented the result of Bianco's work, it hit me too. No, I don't mean inspiration. I mean Mneka, who saw Bianco's drawing and thought I should play with the brushes myself. She refused the excuse that still no one explained to me how to use watercolors. And to make the decision easier for me, she offered herself as a model.
Who could say no?
During rain there was nothing else to do but look for an indoor activity. And so I sketched and speckled paint on the sheet, randomly, here and there, and layer by layer, with light and shadow everywhere.
Sometimes I think there is some progress. Sometimes I think someone should explain how to use colours. Sometimes I think I should have more professional brushes and different colours than the school paint kit. But today is Sunday - nothing is open.
