Nachdem die Damen von ihrer ungeplanten Wellness-Auszeit zurückkamen, unternahmen wir noch einen Sonnen-Spaziergang. Weit kamen wir nicht, da machten wir Halt an einer Bank…🐆 O, Niara😽 O, Juba🐆 O, gab es eine, die jemals schöner anzusehen, du, mein liebstes Kleinod.😽 O, du Charmeur. Gab es jemals einen, der süß’res Süßholz raspelte?😼 O, ich glaube, ich will noch eine Gurkenmaske.😸 O ja. Nur einmal so angehimmelt werden wie Mama – das wäre größte Seligkeit für mich.🐆 Seligkeit? Anhimmeln? Auf keinen Fall bekommt ihr noch eine Gurkenmaske.😼 Aber Dad, warum denn nicht?🐆 Weil ich es sage! Ihr könnt Gurkenmasken auftragen, wenn ihr 18 seid. Ach, was rede ich da? 25! Und keinen Tag früher.😽 Ach, Liebster, was ist an einer Gurkenmaske Schlechtes?🐆 Keine Gurkenmasken für meine Töchter. Sie werden noch früh genug angehimmelt. Da müssen wir nicht noch nachhelfen.😼😸 Ach, maaaann!🇬🇧Right after the ladies returned from their unplanned wellness break, we went for another sun walk. We didn't get far, as we stopped at a bench...🐆 Oh Niara.😽 Oh Juba.🐆 Oh, was there ever a more beautiful creature to look at but you, my dearest.😽 Oh you charmer. Was there ever a sweeter sweet-talker?😼 Oh, I think I want another cucumber mask.😸 O yes. Just once to be adored like Mama - that would be the greatest bliss for me.🐆 Bliss? Adore? There's no way you'll get another cucumber mask.😼 But Dad, why not?🐆 Because I said so! You can have cucumber masks when you are 18. Oh, what am I talking about? 25! Es gibt Tage, an denen ist man furchtbar ungerecht zum Leben – da jammert man über zu viel Regen, über zu viele Ameisen beim Picknick, über zu wenig Streusel auf dem Apfelkuchen oder beklagt den unruhigen Schlaf oder schimpft über den Postboten, der gleich dreimal hintereinander klingelt, obwohl ein einziges Mal Klingeln ausgereicht hätte. Kennt ihr das?Und es gibt Tage, da sitzt man einfach nur auf einer Bank mit seinen drei bezaubernden Mädchen und wundert sich, welchem Geschicke man dieses Glück verdankt. Wer braucht schon Apfelkuchen, wenn er drei so bezaubernde Frauen an seiner Seite hat? Wer will sich am Regen noch stören, wenn er drei Sonnen hat, die nur für ihn scheinen? Wer denkt ans Schlafen beim Anblick seiner „Blumenmädchen“?Sagt selbst, sehen Niara und Swede und Mneka nicht bezaubernd aus mit dem Blumenschmuck im Haar?🇬🇧 There are days when you are terribly unfair to life - when you complain about too much rain, about too many ants at a picnic, about too few sprinkles on the apple pie or complain about restless sleep or about the postman, who three times rang the door bell, although ringing once would have been enough. And so I ran and ran through the garden, looked at every wall and behind every stone and yet found no flower that did not wither in Niara's beauty.
