Als Pum und ich über die Dinge sprachen, die da kämen, da offenbarte Swede den Damen ihre Überraschung: Sie besorgte ein wunderschönes Geschmeide für Tia. Das allein war Grund zur Freude, aber die Juwelenverkäuferin sagte, man könne die Kette in zweierlei Weisen tragen – als Kette oder als Kopfschmuck.Das wollten sie herausfinden. Zunächst legte Swede das Geschmeide als Halsschmuck an, und jede der Katzen staunte beim bezaubernden Anblick der Tia. Aber als Swede die Rubine als Kopfschmuck anlegte, da war plötzlich ein Raunen zu hören, das durch staunenden Mäuler zog.😺 Wow. Du siehst voll Hammer aus!🙀 O ja. Wie eine Prinzessin. Nein, eine Königin.🐆 Die Kinder haben Recht, liebe Tia. Du siehst wahrlich bezaubernd aus. Pumuzi wird sein Aug nicht mehr von dir nehmen können.🇬🇧As Pum and I talked about the things to come, Swede revealed her surprise: she got Tia some beautiful jewelry. That was some of a good reason for celebration, but the jewel seller explained the necklace could be worn two ways—as a necklace or as a headdress.That's what the ladies wanted to find out. First, Swede applied the jewelery as a necklace, and each of the cats marveled at the enchanting sight of Tia. But when Swede put on the rubies as a headdress, a murmur was suddenly heard that went through three mouths.😺 Wow. You look awesome!🙀 O yes. Like a princess. Während sich die Damen um Tia bemühten, kümmerte ich um den »verlorenen« Pumuzi. Man konnte denken, solch ein Tag wäre ein Tag des Glücks, aber Pum sah wenig glücklich drein.🐆 Du schaust bedrückt, mein Freund?🐱 Wie könnte ich nicht bedrückt dreinschauen? Jeder ruft nach einer Hochzeit, erzählt von Zeremonien, Blumen und Geschmeide, aber nicht einer erklärte mir je, was eine Hochzeit ist. Was muss ich tun? Was, wenn ich es falsch mache? Was muss ich sagen? Was-🐆 Immer mit der Ruhe, Pum. Du musst gar nichts tun. Obwohl, eine Sache ist da wohl-🐱 Was ist's, das ich tun muss?🐆 Nun, liebst du Tia?🐱 Was soll die Frage? Natürlich liebe ich sie. Ich verehre sie.🐆 Sehr gut. Das ist alles, das zu einer Hochzeit nötig ist. Welch ein Stress – erst ließ sich Swede den laaangen Weg nach »Warme Hunde« tragen, damit sie beim Juwelier ein Vermögen ausgeben konnte, und kaum wieder raus aus dem Laden, drängte sie zum Aufbruch, schließlich hätte sie noch Dinge vorzubereiten für die Hochzeit. Deshalb war Eile......o, was war das? Greifen? Winzige Greifen waren da aufgereiht und breiteten die Schwingen aus, sodass man denken konnte, sie luden Swede zu einem Ausritt ein. Und wenig später war jede Eile vergessen, stattdessen wollte Swede jeden einzelnen probesitzen.🇬🇧What a stress – at first Swede had herself carried the long way to Warnemünde to leave all the money at the jeweller's, and as soon as she left the shop she was urging to head homewards - after all she had lots of things to prepare for the wedding. So we were in a hurry and......oh wait, what was that? Gryphons? Tiny griffins were lined up and spreading their wings, inviting Swede for a ride. Endlich langte Swede in der Menschensiedlung an – »Warme Hunde«, hieß das Dörfchen. Niemand wusste so recht, weshalb sie so dringend hier sein wollte, und kaum erblickte sie die Einkaufsläden, verschwand sie in einem solchen. Genaugenommen verschwand sie im Laden eines Juweliers. Und nun war klar, was sie zu finden hoffte: Swede suchte nach einer Kette für Tia, die sie bei ihrer Hochzeit tragen könnte.Dazu durchstöberte die das ganze Sortiment, ließ sich allerlei Geschmeide zeigen, und nachdem sie eine passende Kette fand und unser Mensch die Rechnung beglich, konnte es wieder zurückgehen zur Ferienanlage, schließlich sollte es ja noch eine Hochzeit geben, ob die zwei - Tia and Pum - nun wollten oder nicht.🇬🇧Finally Swede arrived at the human settlement called Warnemünde. Nobody really knew why she wanted to be here so urgently, and as soon as she saw all the shops, she disappeared on one of them, actually she ran into a jewelry store. Yesterday, as I mentioned, I was planning to have some time just for me and myself. And yesterday I also mentioned how fragile plans are when you have to find some minutes of spare time between childcare and nursing my ailing Niara.In the end I succeeded! But lemme explain.On the occasion of an unbelievable number of 1,800 followers, @tas.illustrations started a #DTIYS challenge. If you don't know what a #DTIYS Challenge is - well, that's not difficult to understand: everything starts with a drawing. In order to get a challenge started, someone draws a picture of a subject of their choice and in the way they like it - after the drawing was done, they're asking for participation. Everyone who takes part in the challenge draws the given motif in their own way, with pens and colors and materials and in the style they like. It is not important whether someone is particularly good at drawing; the only important thing is having fun, but with the goal of having as many drawings as possible, that can be marveled at the end of the challenge - although they all show the same subject, they're very different, just as different as those who created it.Super exciting.And because @tas.illustrations drew a wonderful leopardess draped with some fine jewelry (you can see the original in the second slide), I thought it would be a good opportunity to use the watercolors again - after all, the last watercolored drawing is two months old now. And without practice, noone will get better after all. So, I tried really hard to adapt the origin drawing and that's how it came out.Thanks for hosting, thanks for the great drawing, @tas.illustrations. It was great fun. Sonntag Morgen - anstatt Ruhe und Besinnlichkeit einkehren zu lassen, veranstalteten die Kinder einen ausgemachten Radau, mit Gebrüll und Gequietsche, mit Jauchzen und Gejammer, von einem Bett zum anderen, hoch und wieder herunter, drunter und drüber, und immer dabei war Ajabu. Ihr könnt euch das Gepolter vorstellen. So früh am Tage war das zu viel für Niara. Die beschloss, dass Mneka und Swede bis zum Mittag ganz und ausschließlich meine Kinder wären. Und damit kein Zweifel daran bestand, ging sie mit Mara spazieren.Weg waren die zwei.Nach einer Weile des Herumstreunens langten sie an einem Blumenbeet an, mit Tulpen darin und Hyazinthen. Und während sich eine Traube von Zweibeinern bildete, schnupperten zwei mit Geschmeide behangene Raubkatzen an Blumen, als wäre nichts Ungewöhnliches daran.Ist es so ungewöhnlich?🇬🇧 Sunday morning - instead of peace and contemplation, the children had a good racket, with roars and screeches, with cheers and moans, from one bed to the other, up and down, left and right, and Ajabu was always there. You can imagine the rumble. It was too much for Niara so early in the day. She decided that Mneka and Swede would be my and only my children until noon. And so that there was no doubt about it, she went for a walk with Mara.The two were gone.After wandering around for a while, they came to a flowerbed with tulips and hyacinths in it. Gibt es noch irgendeinen, dem nicht längst die Fänge des grauen Wetters im Nacken stecken, wartend, dass alle Lebensfreude aus dem Leibe troff? Freilich kann man etwas Schokolade essen oder Kekse oder Kuchen, aber auch das hilft nicht lang.Damit sich das änderte, kam Swede zu mir. Sie bat mich, bei einem Spiel auszuhelfen – die „Mädchen“, wie sie sagte, wollten eine Modenschau veranstalten und ich sollte der Ansager sein, oder wie auch immer man den einen nennt, der den Walk der „Mädchen“ kommentiert.Na gut.Also versammelten sich Mara und Mneka und Niara und Swede im Wohnzimmer und begannen das Stolzieren mit ihrem Geschmeide. Wohl deshalb nennt man es Catwalk. #1 …Und hier sehen wir Niara. Sie trägt eine filigran gearbeitete Kette in der angesagten Doppelschlingung um den Hals. Daran festgemacht ist ein runder Anhänger, besetzt mit 101 Steinen zu je 23 Carat. Der Cabochon-Schliff der Steine und die wunderbare Fassung erinnern an das Auge eines Geparden. Wahnsinnig toll. #2 …Und hier ist die kleine Swede. Sie trägt ein Geschmeide aus reinstem Silber, verspielt kombiniert mit orangefarbenen Seestern-Quintett, gefertigt aus Katzengold im beliebten Emerald-Cut. Die Kette vereint die Wildheit des Meeres mit der Sanftheit der Katzenkralle. Der Karabiner-Verschluss sorgt dabei für einen sicheren Halt, selbst beim wildesten Spiel. #3 …Und nun sehen wir die bezaubernde Mara. Auch sie trägt die Kette in angesagter Queenslänge in der Doppelschlingung. Besonderes Augenmerk liegt auf den in sich verschlungenen Ovalen des Anhängers. Besetzt mit reinsten Diamanten im klassischen Facetten-Schliff symbolisieren sie die Dreieinigkeit des Löwenrudels – der Mähnenlöwe, die Löwin, das Jungtier.
