In my carelessness I thought that the crazy ball of fur was going to delight us with something special - maybe she wanted to do a somersault, I thought, or throw a hot dog eating contest or catch a Hail Mary or sing karaoke to Alan Jackson's "Mercury Blues" or take twenty table tennis balls in her mouth at once. None of that. Zoul thought it would be enough if she leaned against one of the sunflowers and looked out into the world.
