O weh. Gestern - wir waren gerade fertig mit den Sonnenblumen – hielt ein Paketvorbeibringauto vor unserer Nase, und ehe der Bote aus dem Auto stieg, sprang Swede auf diesen zu und stand bereit, wie üblich, das Paket in Empfang zu nehmen. Das, zumindest, dachte ich. Was ich mir jedoch nicht erträumen ließ: Es waren der Pakete drei. Drei!
Aber irgendwer muss sie ja nehmen...
Swede hatte alle Mühe, die Kisten herzuschleppen – jede Einzelne überragte sie ums Zweifache. Und der Postbote war längst enteilt, als dass er beim Tragen helfen konnte. Als das geschafft, versammelten wir uns rasch am Paketauspackpunkt auf der Terrasse, um zu sehen, was in den Kisten war.
🇬🇧 Oh dear. Yesterday - we had just finished with the sunflowers - a parcel delivery car stopped in front of our noses, and before the mail man got out of the car, Swede jumped right to him and stood ready, as usual, to receive the weekly package. This is what I thought. But what I never dreamed of: There were three of packages. Three!
But someone has to take them...
Swede struggled to haul the boxes - each of them was twice as tall as she was. And the postman had hurried long before he could help carry'em. When it was done, we quickly gathered at the parcel unpacking point on the terrace to see what was in the boxes.
