Ich wollt‘, das Foto wäre die Verbildlichung eines neuen Abenteuers; tatsächlich ist es nicht viel mehr als das Abhängen auf einem Strauchast in der Mittagssonne in stillem Gedenken an all jene, die heute arbeiten müssen. Euch einen guten Start in die Woche.

Wer so oft in der Natur herumstrolcht wie ich, der möchte vielleicht denken, irgendwann alles Staunenswerte entdeckt zu haben. Doch wann immer ich in der Natur bin, entdecke ich Dinge, die ich vorher noch nicht entdeckte – wie diese rosafarbenen Dinger, die vom Strauch »herabregnen« wie ein Höhenfeuerwerk. Total toll.🇬🇧Anyone who stumbles around in nature as I do might think they’ve discovered everything astonishing at some point. But whenever I’m in nature, I discover things I haven’t discovered before—like these pink whatevers »raining down« from the bush like fireworks. Was für eine Sch...ande. Stellt es euch vor: Auf unserem Spaziergang durch den Schlosspark war da ein Strauch mit Blüten. Und also dachte ich bei mir, dass ein Pfoto zu machen eine lohnenswerte Sache sei. Doch kaum war ich den Blüten nahe, schossen tausende Mücken aus dem Strauch und fielen über mich her wie eine Bande hungriger Löwinnen. Sie stochen und pikten mich, bis ich mehr Beulen am Leibe hatte als ein Massageball. Kennt ihr diese piksigen Bälle? Ja? So sah ich danach aus. Und alles nur für ein Pfoto.🇬🇧What a sh...ame. Imagine that: On our walk through the castle park there was a bush with blossoms. I thought to myself taking a picture was a worthwhile endeavor. But no sooner was I near the flowers than thousands of mosquitoes shot out of the bush and attacked me like a bunch of hungry lionesses. They poked and pricked me until I had more bumps than a massage ball. Do you know those prickly balls? Yes? This is what I looked like afterwards.
