O, toll, toll, toll – sie ist da, sie ist da. Hallo, hier ist eure Swede, und ich bin nicht allein; ich bin hier mit einem kleinen Paket. Zwar weiß ich schon, was darinnen ist, aber ich habe keine Ahnung, wie es aussehen wird.
Wisst ihr noch, wie Chee und ich – ganz allein – in dem großen Erdbärladen waren und eine Tasse bemalt haben? Das Malen ist die eine Sache, aber ehe solch eine Tasse überhaupt zum Trinken geeignet ist, muss sie noch einmal in den Ofen, bei 30°C oder so, damit sie fest wird. Das ist so ähnlich wie mit Fischstäbchen – erst sind sie kalt und fest, tauen auf und sind labberig, später sind sie heiß und knusprig oder einfach nur schwarz. Und genau so funktionieren auch Tassen.

Do you remember how Chee and I - all alone - painted a mug in this big barn shop, dedicated to the almighty strawberry? But painting porcelain is one thing, but before a cup like this is even suitable for drinking, it has to go back into the oven at 30°C or so to solidify. It's similar to fish fingers - first they're frozen and solid, then they thaw and are limp, later they're hot and crispy or just black. And that’s exactly how raw porcelain cups work.
