Heute ist hier Feiertag – so steht es zumindest auf dem Kalenderblatt. Aber wirklich gefeiert wird hier nicht, meine Menschen verweigern lediglich die Arbeit und behaupten, sie müssten heute nichts tun. Das heißt also, sie blockieren die Couch, die ich eigentlich für Niara und mich ausersah.
Dass sie den ganzen Tag zu Hause sind, ist jedoch nicht nur schlecht, denn so durfte ich ausnahmsweise die guten Aquarellfarben ausprobieren und die guten Pinsel und das gute Papier. Und das tat ich – ich malte Geparde. Seht ihr’s? Zunächst musste ich mich mit der Farbgewalt der verschiedenen Farben vertrautmachen und lernen, wie das Papier die Farbe aufnimmt, aber so nach und nach wurde es besser.

🇬🇧 Today is a holiday - at least that's what the calendar sheet says. But there is no real celebration here, my humans just refuse to work and claim that they don't have to do anything today. And that means they block the couch that I actually intended for Niara and me.
The fact that they are at home all day is not bad at all, because I was allowed to try the good watercolors and the good brushes and the good paper. And I did - I painted cheetahs. Do you see it? First I had to familiarize myself with the power of the different colors and learn how the paper absorbs it, but gradually it got better.
